About LeighLeigh Evans opened Eve 'n After Microblading in May of 2013 and is a fully insured Permanent Makeup technician. She is certified by Boca Ta-2 School of Permanent Makeup in Williston, Florida under instructor Joyce Cirasuola, The Beau Institute of Permanent Makeup in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey under Instructor Rose Marie Beauchemin and BrowMasters Microblading Master Class under world renowned instructors Tina Davies & Dr. Linda Dixon. Leigh currently owns and operates Eve ‘n After Permanent Makeup in Newburgh, New York.
Prior to her career in the permanent makeup industry Leigh had a successful career as a drafter/AutoCad operator/designer in the field of Civil Engineering & Land Surveying. In 2011 her 25 year career was cut short when the economy crashed and the company that employed her was forced to close. Work in her field was no longer available so she was forced to find a new line of work. Always naturally artistic, she was fortunate to have been exposed to permanent makeup industry, specifically hair stroke eyebrows at a tattoo convention and decided to pursue it as a new career. In the spring of 2013 Leigh was certified in the method of eyebrow hairstroke tattooing by use of machine. By the fall of 2013 she stumbled upon a technique being done outside the United States called Microblading. At that time Microblading was NOT being taught in the United States so Leigh reached out to several experts in the field outside the country for guidance. By the end of 2013 she exclusively switched over to the Microblading technique. In the spring of 2014 Leigh's primary instructor, Joyce Cirasuola in Gainesville, Florida hosted the very first Microblading class taught here in the United States for which Leigh attended. This class was taught by the very instructors that Leigh had reached out to the year before. This new technique proved to be superior in her opinion and clients seemed to agree as she has clients flocking to her from all over the US, and as far away as Bermuda for her talents. In addition to microblading Leigh has since added shading techniques to her services. She now has approximately 1400+ clients who will still travel to see her. As a pioneer in the field her experience is invaluable and unmatched by few. Unlike the old traditional solid brow lines, Leigh specializes in Microblading, a tattooing method that creates beautiful, natural looking eyebrows. This is done by implanting pigment as individual hairstrokes one at a time, giving a much softer and natural appearance. How do I put this in words, hmm lets start with OMG!! I walked out of Eve 'n After looking marvelous as they say nowadays I was snatched by the gods! touched by the hand of an angel called Leigh. Lets talk about how I walked in scared and apprehensive. Little did she know everyone for years and years has complimented me on my eyebrows but they were FAKE they usually ended up on my pillowcase and if I was with my significant other I would wake up before him and put my eyebrows back on lol.. Ok ok so here is what I was the most impressed with. I had mastered making my left eyebrow look like my right eyebrow through many years of practice reason being my face was paralyzed many moons ago and there is still a little residual damage. The way I position my eyebrow makes my face look more symmetrical and no one notices. Leigh at Eve 'n After used her mastery in her stroking technique to make a miracle on my face and for that, all humor aside I will forever be grateful. Thank you

This woman is absolutely Awesome. After years of tweezing, plucking, using neet, nair and waxing, I had absolutely no eyebrows left. It held me back from going out many times because I just didn't feel like drawing them in. Honestly, it effected my life. My daughter did some research and found Leigh. For my birthday, my daughter called and set up an appointment for me. We went to her adorable Studio in Newburgh in November 2014. It was the best birthday gift that I have ever received. I am so, so very happy with the way they look. I wake up in the morning and go to bed at night with fabulous full eyebrows. Thank you so much Leigh for giving me my self-confidence back.

As a cancer survivor that has lost most of my eyebrows to Chemo, I cannot see closely to pencil in my brows without my glasses. I was looking for a professional that did permanent eyebrows. I had already lined up a person when my daughter gave me a pamphlet from "Eve 'n After" with Leigh. In the pamphlet it showed 'Stroking' which was much better looking than the pictures I previously viewed of the old style permanent brow. I met with Leigh and saw her work and without hesitation I knew that stroking would be a lot better of a look. It is a natural hair look.
Everyone that has seen me after Leigh's work, were amazed and wondering exactly what had changed. Many thought my health had been resolved. When I pointed out my eyebrows they were amazed. There was no pain involved for me and she was meticulous about her work, her office is clean and beautiful. Very professional. Leigh matched my brow color with my hair color beautifully. My color has never faded and my brows look fantastic. I can't tell you how happy I am. I have scheduled my one year follow up and not that I may need it but definitely I am so happy with my brows that I want them to stay looking great. Leigh is professional and personable. She really takes the time to create the perfect shape to compliment your face. Leigh really listens to you as to how you would like your eyebrows to look. And she insures that you are comfortable during your session with her. I lost my eyebrows many years ago and struggled everyday penciling them in. Without makeup it was very embarrassing.
The Hair Stroke Method looks extremely natural. Many people can't tell that my Eyebrows are permanent makeup. The eyebrows that Leigh "created" for Me changed my life. I don't have to be frustrated penciling them on every day or worry that my eyebrows will get wiped off. They are always there! And they have really enhanced my appearance.
